Walk Around Crestline Neighborhood

My neighbor & I went for a walk this morning around the Crestline neighborhood and had a nice time (early - before the heat set in)... Here are some photos of what we saw.
This little bird made me think of the 'twitter' icon...so cute. It was a little yellow bird, but because of the angle, all I got were silhouettes. Cute.Over on Crestwood Drive there was a yucca plant all in bloom that looked like it was falling over because it was so heavy with flowers. This is called 'loco-weed' because if you eat it, it causes hallucinations. (POISON!!!)I stepped into someone's yard (don't tell them) to take this picture. The dog was barking at me from the window. This is a desert plant growing in my neighbor's front yard.A little barrel cactus is producing fruit (I was too late for the orange/yellow flowers, but the fruit is really pretty too.)At the end of our walk, we stopped to visit in the front yard and I got this shot of the sun just after it came up with the TALL plants in Marian's yard. Very pretty morning. I think it will be a good day.
